Follow the Steps of Saint Paul and Saint John
1st Day Athens: Arriving from ….
Transfer to the hotel situated at Peloponnese. Accommodation. Dinner. Overnight stay in Peloponnese.
2nd Day Corinth – Mycenae
After breakfast transfer to the Ancient Corinth for sightseeing. It is the place where St. Paul preached and lived for two years. The vigorous and mostly Gentile Church he founded here in 50 AD caused him much grief and prompted him to write at least four letters to them. To enjoy devotional in the midst of the ruins of the church of Corinth band see the pillars, steps, and public worship place where Paul preached. It will enhance your understanding and love of I & II Letter to Corinthians. Visit to the ruins of the ancient city where St. Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla. See the remains of first century shops, the agora where St. Paul’s trial by Gallio took place, the Fountain of Peirene, Temple of Apollo and the Bema. After our visit to Corinth we will travel to Mycenae where the remains of the ancient city date back to the Bronze Age. There we will admire the Lionesse Gate, the Tomb Agamemnon. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay in Peloponnese.
3rd Day Epidavros – Nafplio
After breakfast we drive towards EPIDAVROS to visit among others the best preserved Greek theatre, which is famous for its magnificent acoustics. Then, we meet NAFPLIO, the first capital city of modern Greece. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Greece, situated by the sea. There you can visit the Venetian Fortress at the port, the defense city walls and the tower, situated on the hill Palamidy. Follows Mass at the Catholic Church. Return to the hotel. Dinner.

4th Day Cruise – FRIDAY
After Breakfast transfer to the port of Piraeus – accommodation on board. Departure from Piraeus at 13.00. Lunch on board. About 06:00 PM, we will arrive to the island of MYKONOS – the beautiful Greek island located in the archipelago Cycladic. We will walk along the charming corner of Chora known as “Venice of Mykonos.” In one of the many local taverns we will sit to taste wine and the famous Greek appetizers ‘meze’. Return to the port by bus at 11:00 PM. Dinner on board.
5th Day Cruise – SATURDAY
After early breakfast, at 7:00 AM we will arrive to Turkey – KUSADASI. From the port of Kusadasi we will go to KORESSOS. There is a chapel, built in the place where the Virgin Mary had to spend her last days on earth. Continuing our trip to Ephesus, we enter into the archaeological site – one of the most extensive historical areas in the world. Passing through the Magnesian Gate we will see the most beautiful sightseeings: the Odeon, the Fountain of Trojan, The Baths of Scholastica, the Temple of Hadrian, the Celsius Library, Latrines, the Theatre for the audience of 24 thousands, the places where the Apostle Paul had taught. The same day at 4:00 PM we will arrive to the island of Patmos – Monastery of St. John & Grotto of the Apocalypse. In the local museum we can see the priceless scrolls, liturgical objects, manuscripts, icons, medieval robes and mosaics. On our way back we stop at the Grotto of the Apocalypse, which now adheres to the Monastery of the Apocalypse. In the mysterious cave interiors there are still visible traces of past activities of St. John, who heard the voice of God and over there he dictated his disciple the Book of Revelation.
6th Day Cruise – SUNDAY
Our ship stops on the island of Crete, where we’ll spend some time in the capital city – Heraklion. Short sightseeing. At 4:00 PM we will arrive to the volcanic island of Santorini – the magical, unique land of the Cycladic, where the capital city Thira is located at a slope of more than 300 meters above sea level. The history of the island dates back to the second millennium BC.
7th Day Athens – Delphi – Kalambaka
After our breakfast on board, we disembark the cruise ship early in the morning at 06.00 and we drive towards the city DELPHI, the center of the Ancient world – the “omphalos” (navel) of the earth – whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic world. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Accommodation at Kalambaka. Dinner. Overnight stay.
8th Day Meteora – Athens
After breakfast, we visit Meteora. Here we see the world famous Byzantine monasteries that are perched precariously on summits of gray rock pinnacles of varied and beautiful shapes. Their history goes back to the 14th century when the monks sought refuge in the cliffside caves then fled higher to build the original wooden shelters, later transformed into monasteries. Then we drive to Athens. Accomondation. Dinner. Overnight stay in Athens.
9th Day Athens
After breakfast we will visit the Acropolis to see the ruins of the Parthenon, Erectheum and Propylae. There St. Paul spoke to the ancient Athenians. We will also stand on the Mars Hill to enjoy the view of the Agora, the ancient market place. Later, we will see the House of Parliament, the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Presidential Palace, Hadrian’s Arch and the Panathenaic Stadium. Free time. Dinner and overnight stay in Athens.
